I share my experience to make it memorable. Firstly, I discovered the sites and stories that everyone I think will enjoy and share for years. There is something special about experiencing the majesty and power of New York City (NYC). More than that whether you are traveling solo or with someone, the power of NYC moves people to connect.

From the moment I entered NYC I was immersed in inspiration.

A SHAREABLE EXPERIENCE

The journey really cost me an arm and a leg however I knew that it was worth it. Actually I wanted to change my life slowly but sure and see it in a whole new light.

My trip was smooth sailing and all of this world. So I hit the road on the 1st of July from Okhotsk Khabarovsk region. The direct flight to NYC was from Moscow and took me 10 hours to get there. To reduce my chances of getting jet lag I took melatonin (pills for relieving jet lag). It was urgent for me to get ready for cross border procedures and feel nice. Surprisingly, I crossed the US border so easily that I answered the officer’s questions fast and accurate. I was the first to cross the border among the passengers. Even my sister was surprised and amazed. It’s more likely that it was the 4th of July, America’s birthday. Everybody in NYC went to the beach and had a picnic with family and friends. From that point my inspiring adventure in the USA started.

There’s no better place to feel the power of nature than resting in Central Park, Manhattan. Points of interest: Sheep meadow, Carousel, Tavern on the Green, Heckscher Playground, Strawberry Fields, Shakespeare Garden, etc.

Embark an epic journey into the heart of Central Park Sheep Meadow where you can get together and have a picnic with your family and friends. This area is a Quiet Zone. Quiet zones have been designated by the NYC Parks Commissioner to provide a place where New Yorkers and visitors can hear the peaceful sounds of nature.

For those who wish to sit back and enjoy the ride, Central Park provides carriages. From attractive bike and hiking to running, boating and dance opportunities you will find myriad ways to move through Central Park.

Inspired by the view…

Situated between Broadway and the 7th Avenue Times Square attracted me like every tourist. When the sun went down, I witnessed the nightly illumination and billboards of Times Square.

For a panoramic view of the whole NYC I visited the Edge in 30 Hudson Yards. Edge is a one-of-a-kind experience and the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. There’s nothing like looking down 100 stories through the glass floor or leaning out over the NYC from high in the sky. A 52 second elevator with a high-tech virtual presentations took me up 100 stories to Edge.

Beforehand, I took advantage of saving my money while taking Staten Island Ferry which is absolutely free. I was inspired by the captivating views of Manhattan: the Empire State building, Chrysler Building, One World Trade Center, Manhattan bridge, the Statue of Liberty…

Inspired to explore…

On the famous Broadway I was stuck to the Charging Bull or Wall Street Bull. It is a breathtaking bronze bull weighing 3 tons. It is a powerful symbol of financial independence of the US.

Another sculpture that filled my ultimate adventure in Manhattan became the Fearless Girl opposite the New York Stock Exchange. It was created by Christen Wisbal on the 7th of March, 2017 on the International Women’s Day eve. The girl’s pose stands for women’s rights and opportunities.

My iconic experience lasted 10 days. “The concrete jungles” of New York City filled my sense and soul so much that I am happy as a clam. In NYC I found not only Instagram-worthy moments, but I have created memories that will last a lifetime. The spectacular attractions you will find in my Instagram or find me in IRL (in real life).

Traveler Tip

NYC offers something for everyone, for instance, when it comes to shopping. Find charm and cool stuff in H&M in Manhattan.
